LOWEST UNIQUE BID AUCTION
Simply choose the lowest price that you think that no one else will offer and enter it as your bid.
Once the preset maximum number of bids have all been placed or the closing date has been reached, the auction will then automatically be drawn, and if yours is the lowest unmatched (i.e. unique) bid, then you can purchase the item from us for the low price you have offered.
A 'lowest unique bid' is the lowest bid placed, that no one else matches. For example:
Bid 1: £1.00
Bid 2: £1.00
Bid 3: £2.00
Bid 4: £2.00
Bid 5: £2.00
>> Bid 6: £3.00 <<
Bid 7: £5.00
Bid 8: £6.00
Bid 9: £6.00
In the above example, the winning bid is £3.00 because it is the lowest bid, which no one else has offered.
Print a Bid Form from our website.
Send your Bid Form together with your payment to the address on the Bid Form or as stated on the Low Bid Aution Page.
You may bid as many times as you like.
If your bid is a winning one, we will contact you by phone or e-mail. You will then have 24 hours to confirm whether you want to go ahead and a further five days in which to pay, by cheque or cash. Please note that your winning bid is not binding, but if you do confirm that you wish to go ahead, you will then be making a binding commitment, so don’t say yes until you are sure.
